Dynapac D17C is a true cross over between a commercial class paver to a highway class. It features high horse power engine, rebuildable conveyors, augers and extra heavy duty screed to greatly increase the longevity. The heavy duty VF0816C screed is the strongest and widest in the industry weighing 4,500 lbs (2050 kg) for best pre-compaction. The state of the art electric heating technology with 16 kW generator provides uniform heat across the mat width. The screed also includes hydraulic crown, tow point and extension match height to further increase efficiency and performance. The electro hydraulic controls with two operator stations offer best in class paving controls and comfort.

Dynapac Innovative screed mounted 4-auger system moves with extensions to maintain optimal head of material at all paving widths, which eliminates the need of asphalt shoveling while paving wide widths.

The standard hydraulic crown and extension match height and slope for quick and easy adjustment in changing paving conditions.
Built with standard low deck dual operator controls that can transform into three operator controls using the “Road Crew Kit” option. Newly designed fully featured dual operators consoles makes the paving operation intuitive and easy to manage. Unique pave/resume feature ensures the automatic functions activate only during paving.
The new color displays on each console not only provides vital paving information, it also enables control of the pile height for the feed system and temperature setting for screed heat system. No need of sliding the operator console left and right when switching sides.
Powerful and reliable Cummins QSB 3.8, 120 hp engine offers ample power to pave full widths while pushing trucks.
The independent left and right feed system is controlled automatically by using ultrasonic sensors mounted at the end gate.
HIGH MANEUVERABILITY & FLEXIBILITY
The two-speed drive is standard which makes paving or transportation between jobsites extremely quick and easy.
The new 14 in wide extreme grade poly-pad tracks moves quickly whether paving on soft surfaces or traveling between the jobsites. The auto-track tension system always ensures optimum track tension needed.
