Sandvik DD422iE is the mining industry’s first highly-automatic development jumbo with an electric driveline system, engineered to meet the needs for improved safety, increased productivity and reduced emissions. Sandvik DD422iE uses electric battery power instead of a diesel engine to eliminate emissions during tramming.
The drill is equipped with an electric driveline system including a battery package and electric motor for zero emissions while tramming helping the mines to reduce their overall emissions, their ventilation and fuel costs and creating a safer and healthier working environment.
